The lodge was warm and cozy, and the hosts were kind and helpful throughout our stay. We were pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was, considering it was located near a pub. The reserved outdoor seating area was a great addition and allowed us to enjoy some peace and relaxation.
The mattress was a bit uncomfortable and worn. It was slightly too soft for our liking and could have been replaced to provide a better night's sleep.
